Some photos from Oxford
Well, I tried to get in touch with Conrad Barwa before reaching Oxford, but he seems to be in ghaybat al-kubra at the moment. He might know what I look like, but if he saw me strolling through his hometown, he didn't speak up.

Here is a photo of Christchurch College, Oxford.

This is the Isis (Thames) River as it passes by the Commons.

Here is a shot of the Christchurch dorms. The sunlight behind them was very bright, so I digitally altered the photos to make the details of the building visible.

This is a tower belonging to the Christchurch Chapel. As it happens, this chapel is also the Oxford Diocese Cathedral.

Carolyn Chamblin (
Andrew's mother) and Brant (Laura's brother) looking at gravestones in the Christchurch Chapel yard.

After the service we had high tea in the dining hall, which Laura and I thought looked very familiar. We were told that this had been shot as the
Great Hall in Hogwarts, although I've heard that a set was built instead with design elements from the hall. I should warn readers that we did not take the photo above; the ones we took of the hall are not very clear, because it was so dark in there.
Here is a photo of the splendid staircase leading to the Hall.
