A continent bounded by the Mediterranean Sea, the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean, and the Atlantic Ocean. It is home to almost a billion people, 40% of whom are adjacent to the bent coastline stretching from Senegal to Angola. Most of the nations are underdeveloped, largely as a result of 450 years of colonial domination by the Trans-European Project.
