Arab-Israeli conflict
From Hobson's Choice
The "Arab-Israeli conflict" is a phrase which is taken from conventional mainstream news coverage in the West. Other writers have preferred to characterize this topic as "Israeli aggression against her neighbors,"[1] Usually treatment of the subject is so polarized that it is quite literally impossible to frame the topic in a manner acceptable to people from the various sides of the matter.
I have chosen to use the term "conflict" because it actually does involve so many parties (not merely two!) that conflict actually describes the issue well, regardless of where one's passions may lie.
For those unfamiliar with the matter entirely, please see the post on Zionism.
